Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe | Make Choco-chip Cookies
Cookies are famous all around the world and they hold a special place in the culinary traditions of many countries.
Earlier cookies were often simple, made with basic ingredients like butter, sugar, and flour. Over time cookies evolved into a wide variety of flavours and styles. Popular cookie varieties include chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, Salted cookies, Jeera cookies, oatmeal cookies, sugar cookies and many others.
Here’s a recipe for classic chocolate chip cookies that you can easily prepare using a stand mixer. If you don’t have a stand mixer make sure you mix the ingredients well using a whisker.
With these ingredients you can make 8-10 cookies. Adjust the quantity of the ingredients if you want to make more cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup redined flour (Maida)
- 1/2 cup refined sugar (You can grind it at home)
- 100 grams butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk ( if required to soften the cookie dough)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Step 1:
- Preheat oven at 180 degrees
Step 2:
- To prepare the cookie dough, In a bowl of the stand mixer add 1/2 cup refined sugar and 100 gram butter. Using a whisker attachment mix both well until a creamy texture appears.
Step 3:
- Using a filter add 1 cup refined flour (Maida), 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder in the bowl.
- Using a dough kneading attachment prepare the dough.
- Add 1- 2 tablespoon milk if required to prepare the dough.
- Add 1/4 cup choco chips to the dough and let it mix well
Step 4:
- Take heating plate and spread butter over it evenly.
Step 5:
- Take small portions of the dough and make it a round shape
- Add the chocolate chips on top of the cookies
Step 6:
- Now keep the heating plat in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Step 7:
- After 15 minutes remove the heating plate from the oven and let it cool down completely.
- Make sure the cookies are completely cool down to avoid breaking it
- Your cookies are ready
Tip: If you need your cookies to be really crispy, Keep the cookies in the refrigerator for half an hour before baking it.
