Cashew Masala | Masala Cashews | How to make Masala Cashews
Masala Cashews are rich in protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. These are delicious in taste and can be eaten at any time of the day.
Masala cashews are perfect to serve at parties, gatherings and as evening snack.
Masala cashews can be made in various ways. You can deep fry them or stir fry them based on your preference.
In this healthy version recipe we will show you how to stir fry them using small quantity of ghee.
Health Benefits of Cashews:
- Rich in Healthy Fats: Cashews are a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats, which can help improve heart health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- High in Protein: Cashews are an excellent source of plant-based protein, making them a great option for vegetarians and vegans.
- Vitamins and Minerals: Cashews are rich in vitamins and minerals, including magnesium, copper, phosphorus, and zinc, which are essential for overall health and well-being.
- Antioxidants: Cashews contain antioxidants like vitamin E, which can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals and reduce inflammation in the body.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups raw cashews
- 1 tablespoon ghee ( add more if needed based on cashew quality)
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Pinch of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- You can add lemon if you prefer
Step 1:
- In a pan add 1 tablespoon ghee.
- Add 2 cups of cashews and roast it well until they become golden brown
- Make sure to stir them frequently and once roasted keep them aside to cool down
Step 2:
- Add the spices now. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, Salt as per preference, 1/4 teaspoon chat masala (optional), a pinch of turmeric and mix everything well.
- Adjust the masala quantity as per your taste preference.
Your masala cashews are ready. serve it in a bowl and enjoy it with your favourite beverage.
